To Define a New Connect Point

The following procedures describes how to define connect points using the Component Manager.
  1. Open the Component Manager.
  2. Select a component from the Classes section.
  3. Click the Define or Edit Annotations button. The drawing is switched to multiple views of the selected component and the Define or Edit Connect Points dialog displays.
  4. Enter the desired values in the Name and Display Label fields and click Add.
  5. Pick a location for the connect point on the component and use the mouse to orient the connect point direction. You are returned to the dialog and the connect point is displayed in the list.
    Note: The Details option will display the Display Label and Direction Out fields for the connect points listed in the dialog.
  6. When finished adding connect points, click OK to return to the Component Manager.
